Food storage on a budget Tip of the day

Tip for the day

Lets face it folks not everyone can just get up go out and buy everything they need for a years supply of food, so below I am going to post a few things that you can do to start building your food storage now.

First off don't rationalise and keep postponing, start the next time you go to the store, even if it a few cans of food it's at least a start.

The one thing I have been getting every time I go shopping is ready made soup- the ready made soup is a great item to have lot's of in your food storage program or on your kitchen shelves. I think something to consider when storing food is to always think of the worst possible scenario and go on from there.
Consider this; No electricity, no extra flow of faucet water, now what? Well with canned ready made soup no need to dilute down with water no need to even heat it can be eaten right out of the can is necessary.

I buy $20.00 worth every time I go shopping. I know not everyone has a King Scooper, their house brand only cost $1.39 a can, most larger grocery chain stores have a house brand that are just as good as the named brand and will work great in an emergency, just make sure it says READY MADE!

When buying a small amount every time you go shopping you will be amazed how much you can accumulated over a short period of time, always prepare for the worse you will be better off covering all grounds and all situations..
